Booz Allen Appoints Judi Dotson to Lead National Security Business

Dotson brings 31 years of experience at Booz Allen to the role

McLean, Virginia; January 17, 2020 – Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE:BAH) announced today that Judi Dotson, an executive vice president, will lead the firm’s National Security business and join the firm’s leadership team, effective April 1.

Throughout her 31 years at the firm, Dotson has developed market strategies, built teams and shaped business with a wide variety of federal defense and civilian clients. She now leads the firm’s Joint Combatant Command account, with clients throughout the U.S. Department of Defense’s technology community.

 Dotson will succeed Executive Vice President Christopher Ling, who is retiring at the end of 2020 after a 29-year career with the firm.

“Booz Allen has been fortunate to have a leader of Christopher’s caliber,” Rozanski said. “He has been instrumental in deepening relationships with key clients in the intelligence community and growing our international business. He has made significant contributions to our firm’s success.”

Dotson will join a diverse leadership team that is already majority female. She has extensive experience serving clients at the intersection of national security and technology, including cybersecurity, analytics, digital services, and workforce management. Under her leadership, the firm has delivered essential programs to clients that include the U.S. Department of Treasury, the Internal Revenue Service, the Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Army, Air Force, and Navy, and the Defense Acquisition University.

Dotson holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from the University of Maryland. She has served on the board of directors for the public sector division of TechAmerica (formerly the Information Technology Association of America) and served as a member of the board of directors for the Nature Generation, a nonprofit that inspires and empowers youth to make a difference through innovative environmental stewardship programs in literature, science, and the arts.
